My aim is to step beyond the technical, and step into the creative....to step outside the lines, because that is where creativity happens. I want to push beyond the ordinary, and capture what lies inside, because ordinary doesn't stand out from the crowd.
I believe the best photographs aren't just taken – they're felt. While posed portraits have their place, my lens seeks out those precious in-between moments: the spontaneous bear hugs, the uncontrollable giggles, and those split-second glances that say 'I love you' without words.

With nearly 20 years of fine art experience, I have learned to control the use of lighting to create mood and shape, as well as colour use for creating the feeling to capture more than just your face, but the personality behind it.
