I’ve always believed that art is less about what you see, and more about what you feel. My creative journey began at age twelve, sketching portraits under the mentorship of Vivian Erickson—a professional artist who taught me that true artistry is about capturing the soul, not just the surface.
For years, I sketched by hand, obsessed with the subtle play of light and the stories hidden in a single expression. In 2017, I bought a camera, thinking it would help me speed up my reference work. But something unexpected happened: I fell in love with photography itself. The camera became more than a tool; it became a way to capture the fleeting, the genuine, and the deeply personal.
I bring that artist’s mindset to every shoot. My approach isn’t about stiff poses or fleeting trends—it’s about using light, composition, and patience to reveal real personality and emotion. Whether I’m photographing a child’s laughter, a beloved pet’s gaze, or an executive’s quiet confidence, I’m always searching for the story behind the image.
My mission is simple: to create, capture, and share life’s greatest moments. Creativity, passion, and preserving memories are at the heart of everything I do.
But the real turning point in my journey came the day before I said goodbye to my own family dog. It was the hardest shoot I’ve ever done—and the most meaningful. Through the lens, I was able to freeze time, to hold onto a moment I knew would soon be lost. That experience changed my understanding of what a photograph could mean—not just for me, but for every client I serve.
I see that same need in my clients. I measure my success by the meaning I create, not by numbers on a spreadsheet.
Today, I specialize in portraits, corporate branding, headshots, pet photography, and children’s photography for families, pet lovers, and business owners across Edmonton and the greater Alberta area. My clients value emotion, professionalism, and the power of a photograph to preserve what matters most.
For me, every session is a chance to make a difference—to help someone hold onto a memory, celebrate a relationship, or simply see themselves in a new light. That’s the impact I strive for, every single day.
